Each Parker Poe attorney provided more than 50 hours of free legal representation to individuals with limited means last year. Their work covered a wide range of important needs, including advocating on behalf of disabled veterans for medical benefits and safe housing, securing the release of non-violent prisoners who are at great risk for COVID-19, advocating for children in the child welfare system, providing opportunity by clearing an individual’s criminal record, and taking on other causes for persons in disadvantaged communities.
