Charlotte, N.C. – Business North Carolina has named eight Parker Poe attorneys to its 2023 Legal Elite rankings. Each year, all North Carolina attorneys receive a ballot to vote on the Legal Elite, resulting in a list the magazine describes as “the state’s best attorneys, selected by their peers.”

Jason Herndon is a partner in Raleigh who advises clients on construction claims litigation, in-project dispute avoidance, and contract drafting and negotiation issues. He is a previous chair of the North Carolina Bar Association's Construction Law Section.

Brian Cromwell is a partner in the Charlotte office and serves on Parker Poe’s board of directors. Brian counsels clients on regulatory enforcement issues, white collar criminal defense, civil litigation, fintech, and internal investigations.

Steve Weber has been an environmental lawyer at Parker Poe for nearly 30 years. Steve focuses his practice on environmental, administrative, and municipal law, as well as class action litigation.

Morgan Rogers is a partner in Charlotte who focuses his practice on commercial litigation and real estate transactions. Morgan is also a leader within Parker Poe, serving as the firm’s Charlotte Office Development Partner.

Megan Dunham advises clients on estate, trust, and tax issues. She designs creative and flexible estate planning solutions to balance opposing estate tax and income tax issues, as a result allowing clients to minimize transfer tax exposure and maximize income tax benefits while achieving their personal and familial succession goals.
