The Atlanta Business Chronicle, The American Lawyer, and Law360 are among the media outlets that wrote about Parker Poe expanding the reach and depth of its Healthcare Practice through the addition of a new team in Atlanta.

The team is led by Atlanta partner Brittany Cone and features Atlanta partner Jordan Johnson, Atlanta associate Caylie Cross, and director of healthcare reimbursement Becky Hewitt. It also includes reimbursement specialists Amy Davis, Amy Evans, and Teresa Westmoreland, as well as legal professional assistant Ashley Love.

"Brittany and her team are a natural fit at Parker Poe, both in how their healthcare practice dovetails with ours and in the commitment they bring to their clients and colleagues," Parker Poe Healthcare Practice Leader Mandy Hayes said in the Atlanta Business Chronicle. "Their addition expands our practice’s geographic reach into Georgia and deepens the resources we can offer to clients across our footprint. Just as importantly, they share our core values and collaborative approach to serving clients."

Law360 emphasized the cultural fit as well, with Jordan Johnson explaining to the outlet "how focused we all are on building relationships, both in service of the client and as colleagues."

"Our objective was to more wholly serve and support our clients with the resources and knowledge base to handle anything they need within the healthcare space, including their business needs," Jordan continued. "Parker Poe has that expanded scope of services and top-notch representation."

In an article that ran both in The American Lawyer and the Daily Report (Atlanta's leading legal publication), Atlanta Office Development Partner Ellen Smith said the addition "is the latest example of our strategy to continue building a leading business law firm in the Southeast."

"Healthcare is one of the rare industries where we did not already have a major presence in Georgia," she continued. "Brittany and her team change that."

As Parker Poe continues celebrating its 10th anniversary in Atlanta, Ellen also noted how the team "will fit right into the inclusive, entrepreneurial culture that has shaped our office."
