On September 23, Lucy Anderson will lead a webinar for HR professionals and in-house counsel on how ADA claims play out once litigation begins, and what that means for the decisions employers make long before a claim is filed.

The program will cover how ADA claims are developed, where employer liability commonly arises, and how employers can make and document decisions that hold up if challenged.

Drawing on real cases and common claim patterns, the session will address:

• How ADA claims are framed, at the EEOC charge stage and in federal court, including intentional discrimination, failure to accommodate, failure to engage in the interactive process, and retaliation
• The facts that create risk, and the facts that help employers defend their decisions at each stage
• Available defenses for each theory of liability, and the factors that determine whether those defenses succeed or fail

This program has been submitted but has not yet been approved for one hour of CLE credit in GA, NC and SC. A certificate of attendance will be provided for attorneys licensed in other states upon request to submit to their own state bar association.
