Tiffany Burba Honored With Outstanding Achievement Pro Bono Award

Raleigh, NC – Tiffany Burba was selected for the North Carolina Bar Association Intellectual Property Section’s Outstanding Achievement Pro Bono Award. The award recognizes outstanding pro bono contributions by the section’s members. Tiffany currently serves as the IP Section’s vice chair.

At Parker Poe, Tiffany chairs the firm’s Pro Bono Committee. In that role, she coordinates pro bono initiatives across all eight of the firm’s offices for the firm’s approximately 300 attorneys. She maintains a robust pro bono practice and received the 2020 Younger Lawyer Pro Bono Award from the N.C. Bar Association.

Tiffany focuses her practice on helping clients negotiate technology contracts and protect their intellectual property rights. She prioritizes understanding her clients’ business goals and is skilled at drafting contracts to mitigate risk in pursuit of those goals. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US), which has been recognized by the IAPP as the gold standard for privacy professionals.

Tiffany was recently recognized with the award at the annual NCBA IP Section meeting.
